I am a 14 year old beginner or I guess you can say somewhat intermediate chubby soccer player trying to find a soccer league for the spring 2010 season. I am like i said a beginner. I have never played in a soccer club before. I live in the NW side of houston. Could you please tell me any good soccer leagues for 14 year old soccer beginners close to my area. Youth soccer league complaint?
The guy and coached u12 that runs our rec league usually hand picks his own team instead of having possible weak players assigned to him . Then he has all star tryouts way too early, and practices his rec team along with his all star picks. This gives him another unfair advantage. I know youth soccer should not be all about winning, but whats at stake is the team that wins the league title gets to move on toregional and hopefully state. I've tried to talk to the guy but to no avail. Do I have a legitimate complained? and who should I go to? Or should I just transfer my kid to another league?
Create fantasy soccer league?
I would like to create a fantasy soccer league type of tournament for the upcoming World Cup 2010.It would be very helpful if somebody can assist me on how to create one, how many players i need, points system, etc . Please do not make comparisons or make statements about other " fantasy leagues" because i have " zero" knowledge. It will be mostly like a family thing. Thank you for your time
